THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE TOWN CENTER REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY was called to order by Chairman Allen Green at 7:32 P.M.

4. Approval of Minutes
a. October 23, 2012 – Regular Meeting
b. November 13, 2012 – Special Meeting
c. December 4, 2012 – Special Meeting
Motion to approve all minutes as presented was made by Member Burnette, and Seconded by Member Kennedy. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote.
5. CRA Quarterly Report
Donna provided the first quarter report for the Town Center CRA. Town Center CRA is in a similar financial situation as Eastport. Investment in the area is up. Final written approval was received from FDOT for landscaping in the CRA area. The bid specifications are being prepared now and will be on the street soon.
Member Ford wants to look at other options in this area. He is in favor of the citizen’s park in Riverwalk.
Member Burnette believes the land swap is imperative for the area. The appraisals should be completed in March.
Greg Kisela, incoming City Manager, advised the CRA Board that he had a conversation with Mr. LaCour that Ms. Steinebach was not aware of, and they are in agreement with the appraisers needing to be approved by both parties.
Member Bastian asked how the finances are for Town Center. Ms. Steinebach said the Town Center is still struggling financially. She said Staff will continue to search for grant funds and other funds that could be devoted to the park concept. Member Bastian asked if there are any grants available. She said yes, there are grants available but the competition is high.
Corey Berman asked for a community garden in the Town Center CRA.
Member Burnette asked for the financial reports to be included in the reports.
Member Ford asked Member Burnette to remember the Board wants a real park and a fair land swap.
Member Blahnik is optimistic that something good will happen in 2013.
