THE SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING of the City of Port Orange was called to order by Mayor Allen Green at 5:30 p.m.

Maureen Willis, Court Reporter

 

Attorney Roberts gave an overview and background of issues regarding The City of Port Orange vs. Innoprise Software, Inc., case #2010-33712-CICI. The City paid over $187,000 for software and was not happy with the level of service provided by Innoprise Software. In April, 2008, the City participated in mediation; however, no agreement was reached. Subsequently, a lawsuit was filed against Innoprise Software, Inc. in November, 2010. This Special Meeting is to discuss litigation strategy, costs, and expenses at it relates to settlement of the case. S. Larue Williams, Esquire is present to meet. Mayor Green made announcements per guidelines stating it is an attorney-client session to discuss the aforementioned case. The City Council is recessed at 5:33 p.m.

The City Council reconvened at 6:00 p.m. with the attorney-client session being terminated and adjourned.
