The exterior of the remaining shopping center will be upgraded to match the architectural design of the new Publix store.

A proposal to upgrade the former 5.5 acre Port Orange Six Movie Theatre site.  The upgrades include improvements to the parking lot, landscaping buffers, foundation and parking lot landscaping, irrigation system, and utility lines. At this time the property owner has not indicated any specific tenants for the site. The property owner has a building permit to modify the exterior of the building, which is currently underway. The property owner is also in the process of rezoning the site from Planned Commercial Development (PCD) without a Master Development Agreement (MDA) to Community Commercial (CC) to establish permitted uses and dimensional requirements for the site.
