A request for variances from Chapter 15, Section 7(c)(1)(g) and Section 7(c)(3) of the Land Development Code, to allow a LED changeable copy display screen on a monument sign within a residential subdivision. If the requested variances are approved, the Waters Edge Homeowners Association intends to install a monument sign with a LED changeable copy display screen to notify residents of Waters Edge subdivision about events and meetings.

CODE OF ORDINANCES TEXT AMENDMENT/Chapter 58, Article III –

Relating to Special Events  

 

An administrative request to amend Chapter 58, Article III, of the Code of Ordinances relating to the special events process. The proposed amendments create more clearly defined special event categories, eliminate the temporary merchant (vendor) fees except for county-wide special events, and establish a reduced permit fee for repeat events in good standing with the City (i.e. no violations or issues with previous event).

1st AMENDMENT TO THE BERMUDA VILLAGE MASTER DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT & CONCEPTUAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN/Riverbank Properties PUD (F.K.A. Bermuda Village PUD)

 

A request for approval of the 1st Amendment to the Master Development Agreement and Conceptual Development Plan for the Bermuda Village PUD. The purpose of the amendment is to establish lot and building dimensional requirements to allow the property to be subdivided into 4 residential lots and developed with single-family homes.  The amendment will also rename the PUD from Bermuda Village to Riverbank Properties.

The Planning Commission shall limit the initial amount of time allotted for each applicant’s presentation to fifteen minutes. The Commission Chairman shall apportion the time available for citizen participation on all agenda items.

 

The Commission will not hear new items after 8:00 p.m. unless authorized by a majority vote of the Commission members present.  Items, which have not been heard by 8:00 p.m., may be continued to a date and time certain, or to the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission, as determined by affirmative votes of the majority of the Board Members present.

 

Any person who decides to appeal any decision made by the Planning Commission will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he or she may need to ensure at his or her own expense for the taking and preparation of a verbatim record of all testimony and evidence of the proceedings upon which the appeal is to be based.
