A request for approval of a Special Exception request under Chapter 17, Section 25(c)(10) and Chapter 18, Section 3(b)(20) of the City’s Land Development Code. If the special exception request is approved, Chris Hawkins, applicant, is proposing to operate a tattoo parlor in the “RD” (Ridgewood Development) zoning district.

A request for approval to change the future land use designations for a ±9.9-acre portion of property commonly referred to as the Woodhaven-Stanaki property, located on the east side of I-95, north of Pioneer Trail and west of Martin’s Dairy Road, from Conservation and Rural Residential/Agriculture (0-2 units/acre) to Commercial.

A request for approval of  variances from the Land Development Code (LDC) as follows: 1) from Chapter 5, Section 2(b)(3), to waive the requirement for the plat and development plan review process; and 2) from Chapter 17, Section 27, to reduce the lot area and side-yard building setback in the “CI” (Commercial Industrial) zoning district.  If the variances are approved, Michael Pryor, property owner, is proposing to subdivide the subject property, with one of the lots requiring a variance from the required 22,500 square-foot lot area and both lots requiring a variance from the 15-foot side-yard building setback for an existing and future building.

A request for approval to rezone approximately 1.94 acres located at 1495 Herbert Street from “A” (Agricultural) and “R-8SF” (Single-Family Residential) to “GPU” (Government Pubic Use).  If the rezoning request is approved, the owner is proposing to develop the property as a house of worship and fellowship hall.

A request for Conditional Use approval to allow a boat display/sales area as an interim use in the “PC-R” zoning district (Riverwalk). If the Conditional Use request is approved, Brad and Jack Wiles of Atlantic Marine are proposing to operate a boat display/sales area on the subject property.
