The Planning Commission shall limit the initial amount of time allotted for each applicant’s presentation to fifteen minutes.  The Commission Chairman shall apportion the time available for citizen participation on all agenda items.

SUBDIVISION VARIANCE/Joseph Wiggins, owner/applicant

                        6015 Spruce Creek Road

 

A request for approval of Subdivision Variances from the Land Development Code (LDC) as follows: 1) from Chapter 5, Section 2(a), to waive the requirement for the plat and development plan review process; and 2) from Chapter 12, Section 8(c)(1)(e), to waive the requirement to construct a four-foot sidewalk along Central Park Boulevard in front of the subject property. If the subdivision variance requests are approved, Joseph Wiggins, owner/applicant is proposing to apply for a minor subdivision to create two lots on a 7.58-acre parcel of land.

4662 Clyde Morris Boulevard

 

A request for approval to rezone approximately 5 acres located at 4662 Clyde Morris Boulevard from “GPU” (Government Public Use) to “PO” (Professional Office) and 18 acres from Volusia County “A-2” (Agricultural) to “GPU”. If the rezoning request is approved, the Port Orange Presbyterian Church is proposing to continue operating a house of worship under the proposed “PO” (Professional Office) zoning district and redevelop the property in the future.

A request for approval of a Special Exception request under Chapter 17, Section 19(c)(2) and Chapter 18, Section 3(b)(9) of the City’s Land Development Code in conjunction with a separate rezoning request from “GPU” (Government Public Use) to “PO” (Professional Office). If the Special Exception request is approved, Port Orange Presbyterian Church is proposing to continue operating a house of worship 4662 Clyde Morris Boulevard and reserve the ability to expand the house of worship use on the abutting parcels, under the proposed “PO” (Professional Office) zoning district.

DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT/Nautica Lakes Planned Unit Development

A request for approval of a First Amendment to the Amended & Restated Master Development Agreement for the Nautica Lakes PUD. If approved, the proposed amendment will extend the expiration date of the MDA by four years.

An administrative request to amend various sections of the Land Development Code (LDC) to correct errors and omissions, update tables, add in uses permitted in certain zoning districts, and revise provisions to reflect current policy.
