Customer Service: Terminating Service
***Please note after 2pm is next business day service.
For immediate service, please call us or come into our office. You may fax or email us the paperwork in advance to your call or visit. You may terminate an account no more than one week in advance.

A final bill will be issued which will be deducted from your deposit and you will receive either a final bill or a refund check in the mail. For more information, see Deposits.

To terminate service we require the following:

For over-the-phone applications, please submit a "Utility Service Application" under Rates and Forms in addition to your supporting documentation. You may fax or email us the paperwork in advance to your call.

Renters/Mobile Homes
  • Verification of the account holder’s driver’s license / state I.D. number on file.
  • Day you’d like to terminate service
  • Forwarding address

  • **Businesses may provide a copy of federal tax identification number in place of a driver's license
Land Owners
    Renting a Property
  • The account will not be taken out of your name until the renter sets up service. For more information see Tips for Renting Out A Property
  • Please note your deposit will not be refunded if you are still the property owner. Please contact us if your deposit has been released erroneously. For more information see Deposits

  • Selling a Property
  • Copy of the signed settlement statement, recorded deed, or certificate of title showing that you are no longer the owner.
  • Verification of the account holder’s driver’s license / state I.D. on file.
  • Forwarding address
  • Please note that if you are sharing that deposit on multiple properties your deposit will not be refunded. Please contact us if your deposit has been released erroneously. For more information see Deposits

  • **Businesses may provide a copy of federal tax identification number in place of a driver's license
Listing Agents
  • Verification of the account holder’s real estate license number on file.
  • Date you would like to terminate service
  • Forwarding address
  • Copy of the signed settlement statement, recorded deed, or certificate of title showing the new owner.

Forclosure
  • Copy of the Certificate of Title
  • Verification of the account holder's driver's license / state I.D. number on file
