Right turn-lane on Willow Run Blvd. at Clyde Morris Blvd.
The project consists of an east bound right turn lane, 230 feet in length, on Willow Run Blvd. at Clyde Morris Blvd. The turn lane is being constructed by Masci Corporation and is funded by FDOT and City Transportation Impact Fees. Construction of the project began on March 26th and is nearing completion well ahead of the June completion schedule.
Right turn-lane on Dunlawton Ave. at Village Trail
The project consists of construction of an east bound right turn lane, 430 feet in length, on Dunlawton Avenue at Village Trail. The turn lane is being constructed by Masci Corporation and is funded by FDOT and Restricted Gas Tax funds. Construction of the project began on April 2nd and is on schedule to be complete in June.
Dunlawton & I-95 Turn Lane Extension
The improvements include the extension of the Dunlawton west bound traffic lane that provides stacking for the south bound turn lane to I-95 along with a pedestrian crossing under I-95. The improvements are being constructed by Halifax Paving. Construction of the project began on November 21st and is approximately 60% complete. The turn lane construction is in progress. The pedestrian connection is complete and the sodding along the sidewalk has been installed. Activation of the pedestrian signals and the installation of the under deck lighting are being coordinated. The project is on schedule to be complete in June.
Dunlawton Ave. /Spruce Creek Rd. intersection improvements
The project consists of the addition of a dedicated west bound left turn lane on Spruce Creek Road and a dedicated east bound right turn lane on Dunlawton Avenue. The intersection improvements are being constructed by Masci Corporation and is funded by FDOT, the Eastport Business Center Community Redevelopment Agency and the City of Port Orange. Construction of the project began on January 30th and is currently ahead of the October completion schedule.
8’ Sidewalk Herbert Street - Golden Gate Circle to Nova Road (south side)
The design contract with Zev Cohen and Associates (ZCA) was approved by Council on January 17th and will be 100% reimbursed by TPO XU funds. Design is underway with 30% plans under review by staff.
