1. Who do I call with a question about garbage or recycling collection?: Call the Customer Service line at 386-506-5575

You can call Waste Pro at 386-492-8855 or Public Works at 386-506-5575 if you need further assistance.

3. Where can I get a recycle bin?: Residents should use the recycle bins for recyclables collection. To request a replacement for a broken recycle bins to be delivered to your residence call Waste Pro at 386-492-8855 from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. or Port Orange Customer Service at 386-506-5720 from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

4. When do I place my cart out for collection?: Collection carts should be placed curbside by 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled collection day. Carts should be at least 3-5 feet away from your utilities boxes, mail- box, trees, gas or water meters, fire hydrants, cars, sprinkler heads, or any other damageable property. If you have an extenuating circumstance and need help with determining the proper placement of your collection carts, please contact Waste Pro at 386-492-8855 or Public Works at 386-506-5575 to ensure collection.

5. How do I schedule a bulk/large item pick up?: Solid waste too big, bulky, or heavy to fit into the trash cart is considered bulk trash and should be schedule for pick up. Click on the link for See Click Fix.

6. Who do I call to pay my utility bill?: Call the Utility Billing Department line at 386-506-5720.

7. Does the City provide service for disabled residents?: Upon request, door service to handicapped residents will be provided if there are no able-bodied persons in the household. Requests, along with a doctor’s statement, should be submitted to: Solid Waste Manager, 407 Virginia Avenue, Port Orange, FL 32127 or faxed by your Doctor to (386) 756-5365.
