Collection carts should be placed curbside by 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled collection day. Carts should be at least 3-5 feet away from your utilities boxes, mail- box, trees, gas or water meters, fire hydrants, cars, sprinkler heads, or any other damageable property. If you have an extenuating circumstance and need help with determining the proper placement of your collection carts, please contact Waste Pro at 386-492-8855 or Public Works at 386-506-5575 to ensure collection.

Residents should use the recycle bins for recyclables collection. You can request a recycle bin at the City of Port Orange Public Works yard located at 407 Virginia Ave.
Solid waste too big, bulky, or heavy to fit into the trash cart is considered bulk trash and should be schedule for pick up. Click on the link for the Request Tracker.

Upon request, door service to handicapped residents will be provided if there are no able-bodied persons in the household. Requests, along with a doctor’s statement, should be submitted to: Solid Waste Manager, 407 Virginia Avenue, Port Orange, FL 32127 or faxed by your Doctor to (386) 756-5365.
