Please visit the city’s website at to review a copy of the Ordinance and Resolution.

The level of service will not change (2 day per week garbage, 1 day recycle, 1 day yard waste and a large item picked up as needed).

There has not been a rate increase to garbage service since 2014, although expenses have continued to rise.

For residents, please adhere to these important reminders:

  • Excess garbage may result in an additional charge.
  • Yard waste is to be bagged, boxed or bundled in 4 foot length no more than 18 inches in diameter.
  • Pick up is between 7 am and 7 pm. Containers need to be at the street prior to 7 am but no earlier than 7 pm the day prior. Containers must be removed from curbside by 7 am the next morning.
  • Builders, contractors tree services, lawn maintenance, etc. must remove yard waste and debris at their own expense.
