Complainants must provide their names and addresses in order for code compliance inspectors to conduct such investigations. However, if you believe that an alleged violation poses an imminent threat to public health, safety, or welfare or imminent destruction of habitat or sensitive resources, you may report such a violation anonymously by calling (386)-506-5604.   This line is not monitored 24/7 and should never be used in place of 911. You may also report non-anonymous potential code violations through this number and online at www.port-orange.org. Be prepared to give the street address and a brief description of the potential violation.  This new legislation is related strictly to city code enforcement violations, and in no way affects the ability of individuals seeking law enforcement services to remain anonymous.
