Please click on the link below for the current water restrictions as listed on the city's website under the Public Utilities section.

Since January 2016, the city’s reclaimed water system has delivered uninterrupted service to city residents 97% of the time. The reclaimed water system has only been shut off to the public for 27 days in since January 2016.

Reclaimed water is an “interruptible service.” Often times, during dry conditions, demand for reclaimed water exceeds the systems production capacity. Public Utilities works very diligently to ensure this service is available to the public. Operators monitor tank levels, pressures, rainfall and demand trends to utilize our reclaimed water to the best of their abilities.

Due to recent high demands and lack of rainfall, staff is currently closing reclaimed valves during non-irrigation periods (as listed in the restrictions) to ensure sufficient reclaimed water to fill storage tanks. This enables us to provide service to customers during designated watering hours. The reclaimed water system will be pressurized to perform maintenance on irrigation systems on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 am to noon.
