FDOT Concrete Repairs on U.S. 1 in Port Orange and South Daytona - to begin Monday, April 29

Graphic of the explanation of concrete repairs that FDOT will be starting on US 1 in Port Orange

The contractor is expected to begin work the week of April 29 on the portion of U.S. 1 south of Dunlawton Avenue. The contractor will move north of Dunlawton Avenue, coming back to the Dunlawton intersection toward the end of the project.
The project involves sealing cracks, repairing joints, and partial or full slab replacement on various sections of the roadway, and is expected to be completed by early 2020.
The work will require some single lane closures on U.S. 1. Daytime lane closures are permitted on U.S. 1 during off-peak travel between Fleming Avenue and Meeker Place, and the contractor is expected to work during the day as much as possible.
Access to all businesses and residences will be maintained. The Dunlawton Avenue intersection work will require nighttime lane closures and detours. Notification will be made in advance of that work.
Please see the project flyer below for reference.
