IMPORTANT:  Before you submit your permit on The City of Port Orange’s Online Portal (Smartgov), please take the time to review the Commercial or Residential checklists by clicking on the links below. Please submit all documents listed on the permit's checklist by uploading correct documents to the City of Port Orange’s Online Portal (Smartgov). REQUIRED: Every engineered drawing uploaded for review to the City of Port Orange SmartGov Portal must have a Digital Seal and Signature combo. All design professionals will also need to have their identity authenticated by a third-party Certification Authority per State Statue 471.025 and Florida Administrative Code 61G15-23.003.  

Flood Zone: Please be advised, if the property is located in the A, AE, AH, V, or VE Flood Zones, a supplemental Special Flood Zone Hazard Building Permit Application is required. (Click for more information on Flood Zone information)
