  1. How to schedule an inspection

*UPDATED PROCESS: Great news! To improve customer and staff efficiency, we have created a new digital form for inspection requests, customized for both commercial and residential inspections. There are detailed directions listed in each form; please follow directions to properly schedule your inspection and avoid delays.Building Inspection Graphic Opens in new window

NOTE: Once your inspection form has been submitted, please note that a confirmation return phone call or email from City staff is not necessary and that your inspection has been scheduled for the date and preferred time requested.

Due to the Covid-19 virus, while interacting with the public, inspectors are being asked to maintain the Centers for Disease Control’s recommended distance of six feet from people as much as is practical, and when needed will be using face and eye protection. If you or anyone at your workplace are symptomatic, please do not schedule your inspection at this time.
