BEGINNING OCTOBER 1st 2019, ALL GLASS SHOULD GO IN THE GARBAGE NOT THE RECYCLE BIN.
This service includes one (1) weekly collection of recyclable materials placed in containers approved by the City and designated for recycling purposes. Limit three (3) bins per household.
Non-recyclable materials will be left in your bin to let you know that item is not recyclable.
Boxes must be broken down and all cardboard needs to be cut to a 2 foot by 2 foot size to be recycled. Do not bundle or tie flattened boxes together. Cardboard larger than 2 feet will be collected with garbage.
NO GLASS
No Styrofoam or plastic bags. Grocery bags can be recycled at most grocery stores.
Residents can pick up recycle bins at the Public Works Department at 407 Virginia Ave. Port Orange.
