As the Chief of Police, I am extremely proud of our dedicated staff who strive to deliver professional law enforcement services to the Port Orange community daily. The Port Orange Police Department is comprised of 96 sworn officers, 30 support services personnel and our amazing Volunteers in Policing (VIPS) who are all committed to making the City of Port Orange a safe and family friendly community to live, work and visit. The Port Orange Police Department has been an accredited agency through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA) since 2004, and we remain dedicated to providing policing services with these best practices in mind.
