Port Orange Skate Park
The
Port Orange Parks and Recreation department opened its new skateboard park on
August 7th, 2001. The park is located behind the city gym in City Center Park,
open to children and adults of all ages. The following rules and regulations for
using the skateboard park have been developed for the safety and enjoyment of
all park participants and spectators. Your adherence to these regulations is
appreciated. Please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 386-756-5389
with any questions.
Notice: Pursuant to Section
316.0085(5)(c), Florida Statutes, written consent from a parent or legal
guardian must be provided to the City of Port Orange before anyone under 17
years of age may engage in skateboard or in-line skate activities.

Know your abilities and skate at your own

Any pipe or ramp requires use of safety
helmet and pads |

No skating against traffic on ramps or
pipes |

Do not proceed down ramp until clear of
other skaters |

Skating will be allowed only in the
facility itself; not in surrounding areas |

Any person violating these rules will be
asked to leave |
