Citizens Police Academy 2007

The citizens police academy is a training program for residents of the City of Port Orange to familiarize them with the operation of the Port Orange Police Department. The goals of the Citizens Police Academy are:

to develop a partnership with the community

to provide citizens with an understanding of the police department so that they may make informed assessments of the performance of the police department.

to provide an opportunity for citizens and officers to get to know one another and exchange information
