| Impact Fees |
| City: the City of Port Orange requires the payment of water and sewer impact fees for non-residential construction. The fees are determined based upon the number of plumbing fixtures for a particular business compared to that used by a typical single-family house. A Commercial Utility Service Load Worksheet must be completed in order to determine the fees. To obtain a copy of this worksheet please call the Department of Community Development at (386) 506-5600. |
|
| County: Road impact fees are used to construct new roads or improve existing roadways as a result of increased demand from new development. Road impact fees are administered by Volusia County and calculated on a cost/square foot ratio based on the specific type of development proposed. To obtain more information please contact the Volusia County Development and Operations Department at (386) 257-6000 ext. 2723. |
