  • While we don’t have all the answers, we can direct you to people that can help. Caring workers who will help you to find the answers to your questions staff our Community Information line.     Hurricane Preparation:

    The City of Port Orange is in preparation and monitoring mode related to Tropical Storm Wilma. Public Works is lowering water in a number of retention ponds throughout the City of Port Orange in order to gain volume in case the storm tracks north into our area. In addition, crews will be out checking storm drains to ensure they are clear of any debris. City employees are reviewing emergency management procedures and will be monitoring the storm throughout.

    Please continue to check back for further updates and information regarding Tropical Storm Wilma and the City’s efforts to prepare for the possible effects. Residents can also tune to POGtv (Channel 99 Bright House Network) for safety information.
