RYAN LOCHTE Hometown Olympian

Congrats to Ryan Lochte on his success at the 2008 Olympics in Bejing China. Ryan earned 2 Gold and 2 Bronze Medals and a World Record. To celebrate his achievements, the Port Orange City Council, Port Orange Family Days, and the Port Orange YMCA held a ceremony on October 4, 2008 to honor Ryan and his family. In addition to the speeches and awards, the City dedicated the entrance road into the YMCA "LOCHTE WAY."

Below are photos from the event.

The Port Orange community welcomed home Ryan Lochte with a grand celebration on August 28, 2004. Wearing his Gold and Silver medals from the Athens, Greece Olympic Summer games, Ryan greeted a crowd of over 2,000 people with a smile. Congrats to you, Ryan, and your family for the achievement of a lifetime! Best wishes as you train for the 2008 games.

The following are photos of Ryan and his family at the celebration.
