NEIGHBORHOOD INVESTMENT (GRANT) PROGRAM

Over the last 5 years, the City has awarded a total of $60,000.00 in grant funds through the Neighborhood Investment Program (NIP) to 16 different Port Orange neighborhood projects. The funded projects range in scope from sign installations to park lighting projects to landscaping improvements.
The NIP program supports partnerships between the City of Port Orange and homeowner associations, neighborhood watch groups with identified leaders, or other neighborhood-based organizations. Eligible recipients can receive cash grants up to $5,000.00 for projects that improve the quality of life in the City and serve specific neighborhoods.
This year’s deadline for applications is Friday, November 3, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. You can download and ** fill this form out electronically ** using a free pdf reader such as Adobe Reader (if you do not have a pdf reader on your computer you can download it free by clicking here) you should then print out the PDF versions of the NIP Guidelines and Completed Application, which are listed below.
