A New Way to Submit Comments to City Hall

In an effort to provide an additional method of communication with the City, we are offering this On-line Community Complaint form as a service to the public. If you live, work, or are visiting Port Orange and notice a problem, please use this form to notify us. Simply fill out the form and when you hit the "Submit" button your report will automatically be sent to the appropriate City department for action and a confirmation email sent to you. You may check the status of your complaint by logging back in with your user name and password at any time. This form is used by the City staff to document and report service requests from the public.

Thank you for taking the time to assist us in maintaining our City. We would also like to hear from you when we are doing something well. Please email us and let us know when you receive excellent customer service or are pleased with a program or service we provide. Together we can make Port Orange a great community in which to live and work.

If you have NOT signed onto the Citizen Complaint system before...

You MUST create a user profile! This is done from the main logon screen:

1. Click on the Link New User to get to the profile screen
2. Fill in the requested information, including your correct email address.
3. Enter your password twice to confirm.
4. You may now start using the system.

To submit a problem

1. Logon to the complaint system at http://www.port-orange.org/newhelpdesk/logon.asp
2. All information is required!
3. The "title" should be a short description, such as "Tall grass on vacant lot corner of Dunlawton"
4. The "description" should be a concise and accurate description of the problem. You may write as much as is needed to detail the problem!
5. When you are done click on the submit button. There will be a brief pause as the problem is assigned a ticket number and an email confirmation is generated. An email is also sent to the technician assigned to your problem.
6. That’s it! You have successfully created a citizen complaint!
