The Water Distribution Division consists of twelve employees responsible for distribution of potable water, which is used for drinking, and reclaimed water, which is used for irrigation purposes. The duties of this division include installation of new meters and reclaimed water services, installation and inspection of backflow preventors, repair of all water line leaks located from the pumping facility to the customer's water meter and preventive maintenance and repair service on fire hydrants. The Water Distribution Division office is located at 502 Oak Street, next to the City Warehouse facility. Their normal work hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
